This is a very unusual Island Girl blog post but I have a few tips that I'd like to drop for my readers. I mean why have all this knowledge and not share it. More to come but for now let's talk SALES.
Now that you've opened your presents, everything that you've just bought is now on sale. However, if you are like me you have also bought that gift on sale. What's the difference between the gift full price vs the gift on sale but the price?
There are three MAJOR sales if you live in the UK (if there are more let me know in the comments). They are Black Friday sales, Boxing Day sales and New Years Day sales. At the other times of year you have the end of season sales.
How to prepare for the sale
The secret to getting a good deal in the sales is to prepare. What's that saying? If you fail to prepare you prepare to fail. Yup, apply it here. Here are my tips on how to properly prepare:
- The first thing to do in preparation is to know what you want and where you want it from. When you know what you want you can the visit those sites and do our next step.
- The second thing is to create an account with those sites. (Major key) Get your address and payment method ready.
- Now that you have an account you can start making a wish list. If it's clothes you're after select your size and colour. For tech, make sure to do all your research.
What is not a sale...
Just to make a note 10%-20% is not a sale. That is a student discount. It's not worth getting anything that you don't need then. If it is something that your regularly buy, it's just fine.
Happy shopping guys!
